Surrounded by nature, our Holiday Nature Camp offers a welcoming environment where children can learn through hands-on experiences, creative activities, outdoor adventures, and play.
Inspired by Waldorf education and Forest School principles, our programmes encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and a connection with the natural world.
Two Camps, Two Different Adventures
We understand that younger and older children have different needs, which is why our holiday programmes are divided into two groups: Mini Camp and Explorer Camp (our bigger children's camp).
Little Hands, Big Discoveries
Our Mini Camp is thoughtfully designed for younger children who thrive through gentle routines, imaginative play, creativity, and sensory exploration.
A typical day begins with circle time and storytelling, followed by free play, gentle yoga, and meditation.
Throughout the day, children enjoy activities such as baking, Waldorf-inspired painting, gardening, animal care, outdoor play, and simple crafts.
There is also time for nutritious snacks, lunch, quiet moments, and rest.
Mini Camp takes place entirely on our school campus, without off-site field trips, allowing our youngest campers to feel secure, comfortable, and connected to their familiar surroundings.
Our goal is not to rush children from one activity to another, but to create a balanced rhythm where they have time to explore, imagine, and simply be children.
Bigger Adventures, New Experiences
For our older campers, the Explorer Camp brings together creativity, teamwork, physical activity, and exciting real-world experiences.
Children take part in a variety of hands-on activities, including science experiments, gardening, animal care, baking, clay work, arts and crafts, sports, Muay Thai boxing, and team-building games.
One of the highlights of Explorer Camp is our weekly field trip and beach adventure opportunities.
Every week brings a different theme, and our activities and excursions are planned around that theme. This means children can experience something new each week, with opportunities to explore different places, develop practical skills, and discover more about the world around them.
Whether we are exploring the natural environment, learning about sustainability, creating something with our hands, or working together on a group challenge, we aim to make every experience meaningful and enjoyable.

A Typical Day at Bamboo Valley
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
8:45 to 9:00 AM
Our camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with drop-off between 8:45 and 9:00 AM.
Mornings begin with welcoming activities, giving children time to settle in, reconnect with friends, and prepare for the day ahead.
As the day unfolds, children move between creative learning, physical activities, outdoor exploration, and hands-on experiences.
Mealtimes offer opportunities to rest, connect with friends, and practise independence. Younger children also enjoy quiet time and opportunities to nap.
Afternoons continue with gardening, crafts, cooking, animal care, or collaborative activities before the day comes to a gentle close.
While our two camps follow different schedules suited to their age groups, both share the same philosophy: children learn best when they feel happy, safe, curious, and free to explore.
More Than Just a Holiday Camp
At Bamboo Valley, we believe some of the most valuable lessons happen outside the traditional classroom.
When children plant seeds, they learn patience. When they care for animals, they develop empathy and responsibility. When they bake together, they practise cooperation and everyday mathematics. And when they play outdoors, they build confidence, resilience, and friendships.

A New Theme Every Week
No two weeks at Bamboo Valley Holiday Camp are exactly the same.
Each week introduces a different theme, bringing fresh activities, creative projects, and new discoveries. Our Explorer Camp field trips also connect with these themes, making each week a unique experience.
Families can join for individual weeks or explore multiple camp weeks, with something different to look forward to each time.
